Welcome welcome to ~Bishie-Blood, a club for all of us who love to see our bishies bloody!

Do you get that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach on seeing your bishie bleed? Feel the need to run to him, to comfort him, maybe to claw out the eyes of whoever/whatever dared to hurt him? Do you enjoy seeing him rise to his feet after being beaten down and proceed to royally stomp his opponent before pathetically passing out? Or maybe, are you just plain sadistic and like seeing him broken and bleeding? Whatever the case, if a blood-covered bishounen brings you emotion strong enough to kill for or to die for, ~Bishie-Blood is the place for you!

Bondage is also highly encouraged here, whether it be a bishounen covered head to toe in chains and buckles or one bound hand and foot at his fangirl's feet! Trust me, the more sadistic you are, the better you'll fit in here!


Rules for Joining

You must be female. This is a fangirl club; sorry boys!

You must have a love for bishounen! (Obviously.)

You must be ready and willing to gawk at the sight of a bloodied or bound bishie, whatever the reaction otherwise!

You do not have to like both bloodened bishies and bound bishies; you must, however, like one or the other!

You must be willing to endure yaoi; yaoi WILL be posted here eventually, and any whining about it will be ignored. Three strikes of whining on the subject of yaoi will result in eviction from the club.

All members are highly encouraged to join in the contests and commenting of ~Bishie-Blood. This is not a requirement, but without participation there's little point in having a club.

Members MUST watch the club! Affiliates don't have to (I'm sure they have enough on their plates), but members do! I'll be sending out that set of notes next...

Members should/MUST read the journals! (Not that we can force you, eheh.) How else will you know what's going on? Don't worry, we only update for the important stuff!

We ask that you post our icon or name in your journal or signature. It's not required, but much appreciated. It doesn't even have to be in your main journal; I suggest keeping a separate journal for club listings if you have many, as the founder *SilverEmerald-DAS does: [link]

Member list will be updated at every opportunity, and all members will be added to the member list. Comments on the front page will be ignored. Keep in mind that watching us does NOT mean automatic inclusion in the club; you must note the club or founder to be added to the member list.

We are still looking for contest artists. We need people who are willing to draw prize art for future contests. If you would like to volunteer, please send us a note titled Contest Artist.

Current Possibilities for Contest Artists:
*SilverEmerald-DAS (Yes, I am back upon the list; know however that if you request from me I reserve the right to delay your prize for any amount of time due to personal time constraints.)
~Team-Rocket-4eva (Has graciously volunteered her efforts for the future, although it is understood that she may also delay your prize due to prior investments of her time.)

Regarding Submissions. We currently have a submission or two in our inbox; we will try to post these as soon as possible.
Please note that we have a quality standard at Bishie-Blood.
We are not trying to be rude, but submitting artwork does not necessarily guarantee that it will be added to the club's gallery. We request that any artwork you submit be clean, finished, aesthetically pleasing, and of a caliber to the upmost possible quality of your work. Please do not submit sketches, doodles, or work which you are not pleased with. It is still in your best interest to submit artwork that you believe to be of superior quality in comparison to the rest of your own gallery or which you think is your best work; know only that any submissions may be rejected for any reason.

Please do not favourite Bishie-Blood's submissions. We ask expressly in the artist's comments of every submission that you go to the ORIGINAL link in order to favourite or comment upon the artwork. This is so the work's original artist can hear your praise, and not the club. Note that deviantIDs, icons, and wallpapers/desktops may or may not be exceptions to this rule depending upon artist's preference and the item's place of origin; please read the comments on such deviantART-related materia so as to determine the comment/favourite status of that particular work.

Regarding the Addition of Fanfiction to Our Roster. We will now be accepting fanfiction, under a few specified conditions:
-The fanfiction must be yaoi-related or pairing-free. We will not allow any hetero pairings in our gallery.
-The fanfiction must include blood, wounds, bruising, etc. as part of the main storyline or as an obvious part of the story; or the fanfiction must include bondage, binding, collars/chains, or other BDSM characteristics as part of the main storyline or as an obvious part of the story. In other words, it must be appropriate to the "Bishie-Blood" heading.
-The fanfiction may or may not be of a violently mature nature. The bondage/blood portion of the fic need not be gory or illicit to the point of being rated under "mature" deviations, but it can be if you would so prefer.
-The fanfiction may or may not be of a sexually mature nature. You don't have to include downright/outright sex/lemons in your fic, but you can if you'd like to.
-As with art the admins reserve the right to reject any fanfiction submissions for any reason.
These guidelines will later appear separately in a "submission guidelines" journal for future reference.
